The International Crane Foundation
Thursday, January 24, 2008
A friend recently shared the International Crane Foundation website with me and I think it is worth sharing. The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is a charitable organization created to protect cranes and their wetland ecosystems.
The website has some nice educational materials that can be used in a unit study or just in a lesson or two. Take some time to explore the educator section of the ICF website because there are numerous resources listed. For those who live close to Baraboo, WI, ICF offers several workshops, programs and field trip opportunities. I am especially impressed with the International Art Exchange because it provides an opportunity for students to learn about global partnerships.
