Class Dismissed

Class Dismissed is a documentary film about learning outside of the classroom.  We at couldn’t be happier to help promote a project as important as this one.  Just like there’s more than one way to solve a math problem, eat an Oreo cookie, or write a computer program, there’s way more than one way to learn.

Class Dismissed will focus on the topic of education.  Specifically, Class Dismissed examines  homeschooling as a valid alternative to the industrial school model. The film seeks to highlight the many different methods for home learning and seeks to answer key questions, such as what is education? and is it possible to get a great education outside of the classroom?

Whether or not you are a home learning advocate, consider supporting this film.  It adds to the discussion on how to fix ailing public education.  Remember, breakthrough innovations almost always occur from outside of a system.  Home learners just might be the trend-setters for a paradigm shift toward a different education model!

How you can help

There are several ways to help.  Of course, every great project needs funding and even a small donation helps.  The project is also seeking researchers, skills (legal, graphic design, marketing, etc), and bloggers to help spread the word.
